Darling Yoga

FAQs

Do I need to pre-register?

We recommend that you  pre-register for yoga classes, however this is not required. The easiest way to register is through our Darling Yoga app which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. If you sign up online, please be sure to come to the front desk when you arrive for class so we can officially check you in.

How can I redeem my Groupon?

Groupons must be redeemed in the studio.  Please arrive five to fifteen minutes ahead of any class you wish to take with your printed Groupon or the Groupon app on your mobile device.  Please make sure you are eligible for our Groupon before purchasing.  Groupons are for new students only; or those that have not visited Darling Yoga for at least 12 months.  One per user.

Which of your classes would you recommend for beginners?

The Yoga Basics class is recommended for beginners. The Relax & Restore, Yin Yoga (Deep Stretch), Meditate and Breathe, and Mixed Level Flow classes are also open for beginners.

What time do I need to show up for a class?

Be aware that the studio is sometimes locked during classes at times when the entry is unattended. It is important to try to make it on time for this reason. We do allow a 5 minute grace period before locking the door for your convenience especially during rush hour.

What if I need to leave class early?

Please plan to stay for the entire class if possible. If you must leave early, please inform the instructor before class and exit the room quietly when you go.

What kind of clothing should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing for yoga that you can easily move in. You will be barefoot in class. In the winter months it is advised to wear layers (e.g. long sleeve shirt over tank top).

What kind of storage and facilities are available at your studio?

We offer plenty of space to leave your belongings in our cubbies and closets. We also have large restrooms equipped with showers.

What equipment do I need to bring? Do you have mats to borrow?

You will need a yoga mat, but we have plenty of free loaners. We do suggest that you purchase your own mat if you plan to attend class regularly. We also sell Jade, Manduka, and Kid’s Yoga mats in a variety of styles and colors in our boutique.

Do you offer any “trial” type packages?

Yes, we offer a New Student Special that you can use one time at your first visit to the studio. The rate is $20 for 14 days unlimited classes. This allows you to try various class types and teachers to see which is right for you.
